The Chinese Arbitration Association, Taipei (CAA), the APEC Chinese Taipei Engineers, and the Asian Center for WTO & International Health Law and Policy, College of Law, National Taiwan University (ACWH) are to jointly host the annual event “2010 International Arbitration Conference” on September 17-18, 2010 in Taipei, Taiwan. The conference invites arbitration experts and scholars to provide the latest academic findings and case studies on topics in the following fields :

  1. Cost and time effectiveness of dispute resolution
  2. Ethical issues in international arbitration and possible international ethical rules for arbitration
  3. Issues concerning investment arbitration
  4. Arbitration and mediation issues relating to commercial and investment disputes between Taiwan and China
  5. Past, present and future of UNCITRAL Model Law
  6. Other important issues regarding arbitration and mediation
