The CAA Mediation fee schedule was announced in 2008, and is set in accordance with the government's Rules on Arbitration Institution, Mediation Procedures, and Fees. The Mediation fee for a case includes both an administration fee and a mediator's fee. Both parties will be required to pay a reasonable sum of money as deposit before the commencement of the mediation proceedings. In the event that mediation takes longer than expected, the CAA may require parties to agree upon an additional sum of money to be paid as further deposit. CAA mediators do not charge on an hourly basis. Instead, the mediation fees are fixed by reference to the amount of the dispute.

Below is the estimated mediation fee schedule and should be used for general reference only. For detailed calculations, please consult Articles 25, 26, 50 and 51 of the Rules on Arbitration Institution, Mediation Procedures, and Fees.
